We analyse your project from all angles and create tailor-made solutions for you
ICME Healthcare’s market analysis experts utilize a range of assessments to help gain clarity and understanding over the current healthcare market. The assessments include such considerations as supply and demand, population growth, operational trends and benchmarking, and stakeholder interviews. They produce data that feed into ICME Healthcare’s forecasting and planning for a new healthcare facility.
ICME Healthcare also collaborates with the client to gather secondary information, such as statistics and reports, from local sources. Access to this type of information is deemed to be vital to produce reliable outcomes during the early stages of the project.
An essential initial planning stage of a new hospital or healthcare system is the creation of a comprehensive strategic plan. The strategic plan provides the framework for transforming a vision into reality, and defines the strategic direction of an organization.
To build the strategic plan, ICME Healthcare works closely with the client to review the organisation’s mission, vision and direction, create three- and five-year strategic goals and initiatives, and prioritise upcoming organizational challenges and opportunities. The process also includes a thorough market analysis assessment. Here, ICME Healthcare also offers financial advisory through ICME Invest for its clients.
ICME Healthcare coordinates the development of business plans for specific clinical service lines and for new and existing services. Business plans include a market analysis with demand projections, physician requirements, an operational and staffing plan, capital needs with sources and uses of funds, financial performance, cash flow statements and risk analyses. Here, ICME Healthcare also offers financial advisory through ICME Invest for its clients.

At ICME Healthcare we commit to developing a Healthcare Facility that fits all your needs.
The development of a functional medical concept is key to successful healthcare facility. ICME Healthcare will support you in defining core areas of medical service in your facility and increasing medical standards to reach international excellence levels based on our market analysis and estimated patient volumes.
It is essential that the capacities of individual infrastructure components are harmonized to ensure that operations remain unhindered once they have commenced. ICME Healthcare can help you and your team to effectively right-size your facility, interlinking this process with the development of a cohesive medical concept and a realistic forecast of expected patient volumes based on market research.
As part of the development of the medical concept, ICME Healthcare undertakes a process which involves defining the major infrastructure to insure that projected patient volumes can be catered for and that detailed infrastructure planning has been prepared. It also involves creating layouts, initial departmental and functional relationships, schedules of accommodation and an overview of the staffing profile.
The design review entails a full and comprehensive assessment of each of the design stages, from concept through to the final design. In partnership with the client, ICME Healthcare reviews all of the drawings, schematic designs, schedules of accommodation, and medical equipment plans. The outcome of this review feeds into the finalization of the plans.
This stage is important as it allows us to check that your plans meet international standards and local regulations and requirements and detect any potential issues before they arise. Various factors, such as infection control, hygiene standards, patient, staff and visitor flows, and patient privacy are taken into consideration when undertaking the design review.
At ICME Healthcare the future patients of your facility are our priority. Effective analysis of all operational processes allow us to estimate the manpower needed to run your facility effectively and efficiently.
At ICME Healthcare we are at the forefront of technological advances and provide our clients with the latest technology to operate and manage healthcare systems and their facilities
Medical Equipment Planning
Medical technology is always evolving and has a direct impact on space occupancy as well as a facility’s clinical operations. Equipment often accounts for around 40% of the total project cost, dependent on the facility’s speciality. As such, professional medical equipment planning is essential to optimise your budget and meet your financial targets.
ICME Healthcare provides the latest best-practice solutions and advice to help you maximize your facility’s medical technology, meet the challenges of a rapidly changing healthcare market, and ensure hospital competitiveness. We cover the full cycle of medical equipment planning from concept to delivery. In addition, we also offer tender and RFP support, procurement management services, and installation and commissioning supervision.
Computer Added Facility Planning (CAFM)
The medical equipment of a hospital often consists of many hundreds of medical devices that need to be constantly monitored and maintained regularly. All of these services are related to costs which may not be able to bypass, but which can be optimized. ICME Healthcare sees CAFM software tools as the most important components to ensure an effective management of medical devices in each biomedical department in a hospital.

Commissioning & Transit Support
Technical commissioning of a medical facility is a critical step to ensure that all elements of the infrastructure, systems and components of the building have been installed correctly and tested. This step also ensures that future operations and maintenance planning are accounted for, reducing the likelihood of any unexpected failures once the facility is up and running.

International private equity for healthcare, infrastructure, real estate, energy, and public private partnership (ppp) projects
Together with our equity fund partners we invest in the following sectors:
All these projects could also be realized as public private partnership (ppp) projects.
In this context the minimum investment amount is 100 million (EUR, USD).
How We Invest
Together with our equity fund partners we invest directly into such projects and assets and invest all equity and no debt. All the equity is from large public pension funds and the pension funds of insurance companies all over the world. These funds are obtained by their partner banks.
We are looking for long-term investments to provide our pension fund partners with long-dated and conservative returns. We are happy to get our capital returned over 20 to 40 years. Obviously: the shorter the investment period, the higher the required return.
The absolute key to any investment is to ensure that the return of capital and the payment of interest are secure for the full period of the investment. Therefore the return has to be investment graded.
