ICME Healthcare was hired by the client to perform a potential analysis for the area of facility management. ICME Healthcare developed recommendations for actions to be taken by the client to increase efficiency and optimize workflows, including the introduction of a centralized service management. ICME Healthcare provided the client with a target concept addressing the operational and organizational structure. Main emphasis was put on developing and adjusting main and sub processes to fit into the existing quality management system, as well as assessing the capacity, resources, and prerequisites needed for efficient workflows inside the facility. ICME recommended that the previous organizational structure should be transferred into a matrix organization with the redefinition if responsibilities.
With the new approaches for personnel capacities, the insourcing of services and an optimized procurement and contract management, ICME was able to demonstrate a cost saving of more than € 2 Million.
