The Abu Dhabi government envisioned a $1.1 billion+ 700+ bed greenfield hospital to form an integral part of its future strategy for healthcare excellence. ICME was contracted to take part in the hospital’s early planning, design, tender management, and construction supervision in a turnkey approach to consulting. The hospital features centres of excellence in trauma, women’s health, paediatrics, stroke, cardiac problems, infectious diseases, trauma surgery, orthopaedics & sports medicine along with a rehabilitation centre. The hospital was also planned as a key research and training centre.
