The UKM (University Hospital Münster) stands for top medicine in the German hospital landscape and is one of the most successful maximum providers nationwide. The entity shapes the future of medicine for the benefit of our patients – through cutting-edge research, excellent teaching and state-of-the-art patient care and gives all patients access to modern diagnostics and therapy. In 2018, around 62,000 inpatients were treated at the UKM, and there were around 500,000 outpatient treatments. Through personal commitment, the healthcare provider guarantees the high standard of medical care and excellent care. The Münster University Hospital currently has over 1,500 beds and more than 30 clinics as well as numerous institutes and centers. With almost 11,000 employees, the UKM Group is one of the largest employers and training companies in the region. Together with the Medical Faculty of the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster, the UKM contributes to the training of doctors and scientists and thus ensures the continuous development of health care.

ICME Healthcare is engaged to conduct a strategic hospital planning for the University Hospital, including assessment of specific departments. Based on its status, ICME develops a specific strategic concept embedded into the overall healthcare delivery and performance of the University Hospital. Across the project execution, ICME works closely with the Hospital management. Based on the approval of the concept, ICME is in the process of implementing the strategy.
