The strengthening and expansion of primary care service would ensure that more patients can be treated in primary care settings and less occupancy in secondary and tertiary care facilities is witnessed. ICME studies the affected regions and indicated priority areas in which primary care facilities enhance the overall healthcare delivery quality. ICME then worked with its partners to design and eventually supervise the construction of nine prototypical single & two storey Ambulatory Healthcare Centres in various rural and urban locations around the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. 3 clinics have been completed on budget and on schedule. Up to 7 more clinics are awaiting commencement of construction.
