Customer’s vision
The Abu Dhabi Medical Rehabilitation Centre is located in the development area of Khalifa City ‘A’. The Rehabilitation Centre is designed with 1.5 basement levels, 5 stories including a technical plant level. The range of services will cover all needs for rehabilitation from childhood to adolescents through adults to elderly. The length of the building is 135,45m with a width of 81,45m. The Rehabilitation building is envisioned to provide approx. 156 beds.
SEHA mandated ICME to conduct a strategy and facility-oriented planning of the envisioned rehabilitation centre with a dedicated focus on the rising demand of rehabilitation services. The strategic planning study is based on Emirate-wide disease pattern statistics and derived demand ratios. Along with the medical concept of the rehabilitation centre, ICME has concluded the strategic planning study with a detailed financial feasibility assessment. The study contained key performance indicators including payback period, net present value and internal rate of return. Following the strategic planning of the rehabilitation centre, ICME has performed medical equipment programming and planning for the facility.
