SEHA, Abu Dhabi Health Services Co., appointed ICME as an experience healthcare consultant to assess the condition of the existing iconic Al Corniche Hospital buildings in the main island of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. ICME was to evaluate the remaining life span of the building and its equipment and recommend required improvements in order to enhance the buildings, systems, and equipment to match SEHA’s vision for its patients and visitors. The study included a review of architectural and its effect on medical service provision, structural integrity, mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, fire & life safety, and medical equipment in a collaboration with Obermeyer led by ICME.

 

Corniche Hospital, UAE’s largest maternity hospital is a Joint Commission International accredited institution and a leading referral hospital for obstetric and neonatal care located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The hospital is a 260 bed healthcare facility. The site consists of hospital building and other ancillary supporting administrative and service buildings distributed throughout the plot
