UEM appointed ICME to support the FM services scope within the Malaysian Healthcare Market. ICME developed market optimization opportunities of Central Sterile Supplies Departments (CSSD) within the public Malaysian Healthcare Market, specifically North-West Malaysia. The goal was to assess the feasibility of providing and study the potential in enhancing FM service portfolio within the Malaysian Healthcare market by becoming a service provider for Central Sterile Supplies Department (CSSD) services to the public hospital segment. ICME’s study included: assessing the current market state, current infrastructure, national and international trends and best practices, demand drivers, and future demand projections; developing a high-level delivery model for CSSD services on different geographical scales (e.g. entire country vs. Region vs. Kuala Lumpur); and financial feasibility analysis and recommended business model.
